Galerie Westerstorm, Westhoek t/m 8 juli. Een selectie werk uit de serie Jungle Lab wordt in 2018 verplaatst naar het noorden van Nederland. Het onderzoek van de omgeving transformeert zich vanuit Papua naar het Waddengebied. Wat ervaart een onderzoeker in een voor hem of haar onbekende wereld? Wat is nieuw, anders, en voor wie? Kun je eigenlijk wel iets ontdekken dat al bestaat? Deze vraag ligt ten grondslag aan het onderzoek dat wordt gepresenteerd. Gedurende de komende maanden is dit onderzoek dan ook voortdurend in ontwikkeling. De presentatie is te zien in Galerie Westerstorm, Oude Bildtdijk 1160, Westhoek. The research of the environment will be transformed from Papua in the far east to the Wadden region. What does a researcher and scientist experience in an unknown world? What is new, different and for whom? This question is the basis for the artistic research that will take place. In the coming period the work will be transforming constantly.
